This newsletter drop summarizes my experience at Overland of America. I want to share with you what it is, what it offers, and why you should go.

What is Overland of America
This expo features vendors, group camping, and many extra activities. This is the only expo I have ever been to, but from what I’ve heard of other expo’s is this one is more focused on community and having fun rather than just a commercial vendor showing.

What does it offer
Overland of America has a lot to offer. In 2025 they had tons of giveaways, a pool with a lazy river, trails to go on from easy to hard, a downhill Barbie jeep race, and even a gun range that Silencer co sponsored with crazy cool rifles to shoot.
Belly Flop Competition
Even with all that there is nice camping spots to hangout at and just enjoy being with other like minded people. Saturday night they did the storyteller film event. For me it was a really cool experience to see the creators show off their films and share some backstory of the video. The very last morning we had a group event called Java and Jesus where we heard people’s testimonies and enjoyed fellowship with other people all while enjoying some delicious Logic Overland Coffee.

Why you should go to Overland of America
If you go with a group of friends or even solo I promise you it will be a great experience. The emphasis on community and just having fun instead of being a vendor marketplace is what sets it apart from others. At the same time the vendors are available all day if you want to check some things out and grab a good deal on some gear.
